Dean Lewins: First 3 Songs

First 3 Songs is a long term and ongoing project I've been working on since my 1st year as a cadet photographer.

The title 'First 3 Songs' comes from the restrictions applied to press photographers covering international tours and festivals, you are only ever allowed to shoot the first 3 songs.

First 3 Songs is to date a 20 year record of live music performance in Australia, covering the major music festivals, international tours and local pub gigs.
