On the eve of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games elderly locals of the historic Beijing suburb of Hou Hai go about there daily morning exercise ritual, which may consist of swimming, stretching, Tai Chi, shuttlecock, table tennis or just sitting quietly to reflect.
