A sport which reared it's head in the 1920's, Roller Derby is making a comeback, with the American style of indoor skating proving popular amongst spectator-sport enthusiasts. Recently made popular again by movies such as "Whip-it", this neo-roller derby is everything that corporate sport is not.

Punk-esque like fashion, complete with fishnet stockings and 'war paint', these players hurl themselves around the circuit in an eight-woman pack, with shifting formations and enduring athleticism. April 2010.
