Sam Mooy: The Underdog - for The Australian

In December 2009, reknown Australian IBO champion Danny Green faced off against American World IBF champion, Roy Jones Jnr.

Fighting for the IBO Cruiserweight title, "The Mean Machine" Green defeated Jones Jnr in the first round, the bout taking only 122 seconds.

Green, touted as the underdog by his staunchest followers proved the world wrong, with Jones stating afterwards ``I take my hat off to Danny Green - it was a great performance tonight."
